Bob and I welcomed our first Cane Corso Giulietta into our home in December 2001, who came to us from Mauro Crocicchia in Rome, Italy. Less than two weeks later, her Romeo arrived from Morgan Ivaldi in Genoa, Italy. Here we are with our white Persian and her new brother and sister:

Romeo and Giulietta got married in 2003 and had their first litter of puppies in January 2004. We kept their first born son Cyrano and first born daughter Cypress and their 10 brothers and sisters went to loving homes across the USA.

When Cyrano and Cypress were 12 weeks old, we entered them in their first dog show (IABCA in Newport Beach, CA) and Cyrano won Best In Show! He was the little guy competing against all breeds of dogs ranging in age from 3-18 months…and yes, he certainly did have the cute factor!

We went on to campaign Romeo at dog shows throughout the country for the remainder of 2004 and he was the #1 Rarities Cane Corso and the #1 Male at the ICCF (now known as the CCAA) National Specialty with 63 dogs competing, including male champions flown in from Italy.

Our dogs (or furkids, as we like to call them) are the best things that have ever happened to us and they continue to give us so much love, laughter and happiness every day. 🙂

Here we are with our California Cane Corso family in December 2012, 7 1/2 years later:

Do you guys breed your corsos? I would like to see if you have any puppy available. You have wonderful dogs and I like to see if I can get a puppy from you guys or get help on how to import a good one. I am in Los Angeles and have four young boys ages 6 to 15. Thanks, Peter.
Hi Peter, thanks for your compliment! Our dogs are now fully retired from breeding and the show ring, as our oldest two are now almost 12 years old and our youngest two are 9 1/2 years old. Our breeder in Italy is no longer breeding since he lost Romeo’s mother, so I don’t have anyone to refer you to since I haven’t kept up with Cane Corso breeders for years now. I wish you the best in your search for a puppy!
