Giulietta
is very eager to please and is a bundle of energy and drive. She loves
walking around the house with a toy in her mouth, while wagging her tail so
hard she looks like a Tahitian dancer! She'll take turns visiting everyone
and her body will twist like a pretzel as she invites you to pet her! She
hates getting into trouble and is extremely obedient, but if you do get mad
at her, she'll sweetly sit right in front of you asking for forgiveness.
She loves to run and her favorite game is chase. She is also the only dog
we know that "snorkels" when she drinks (her whole muzzle goes underwater!)
She had
her first litter of 13 beautiful puppies without complications on January
20, 2004 - 7 males and 6 females! 5 males and 4 females are formentino like
their daddy and 2 males and 2 females are fawn like their mommy. We invited
the world to share in this delightful experience by setting up a webcam in
our puppy nursery and people just love it! We are so proud that Giulietta
has proven to be an outstanding mom, as she delivered all 13 babies without
assistance and she also had enough milk to feed them all. Her second litter of
13 puppies was delivered by emergency cesarean section after 3 natural births
(Sophia, Bambina and Katarina) on July 26, 2006 - 2 males and 10 females! There
were 6 formentina females and the rest were fawn.
