2007 NEWS

Out of the 21 puppies we had, we have one fawn young adult female available: Carmela. She is a petite bundle of endless amusement, very attentive to humans, housebroken and crate trained. She loves to follow us around and is like a little shadow! Carmela is from Litter C.

As a last-minute decision, we decided to enter Romeo in the first 2 shows at the Rarities Gold Miner Classic on April 21st in Sacramento, California. We invited a few of our local puppy owners and were very excited to see five of our puppies again (Carina, Vulcan, Cinzia, Nico and Lola)!

Romeo took a Best of Breed, Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show. Vulcan participated in two shows and Cinzia was 5x WB, 2x BOW, 5x BOS, 2x Best Jr. Puppy in Group and a Best in Show Jr. Puppy! Nicoletta's brother Enzo took 3x BOB, 2x Group 1, a Reserve Best in Show and a Best In Show!

2006 NEWS

In February, we joined the CCAA Breeders' Guild, the only Cane Corso breeder's organization in the world that sets standards for its members. We're proud to be awarded 8 out of 11 stars! We screen all potential Cane Corso puppy buyers to ensure that there is a good three-way match, as we intend to remain in close contact with our selected "extended family" throughout the lifetime of our puppies. We also value our relationships with Cane Corso puppy buyers and their involvement in the Cane Corso puppy's life from day one, and we were the first Cane Corso breeder to have a PuppyCam installed in our home's Cane Corso puppy nursery.

Litter B (Romeo x Giulietta) was born on Wednesday, July 26th. This is her second litter and she had 12 Cane Corso puppies - 10 females, 2 males.

Litter C (Romeo x Nicoletta) was born on Friday, July 28th and Saturday, July 29th. This is her first litter and she had 9 Cane Corso puppies - 5 males, 4 females.

On September 9-10th, we welcomed future California Cane Corso Puppy Owners to visit and meet all of our dogs (which include the parents of both litters and two offspring from our Litter A) and cuddle with all of the babies! It was a wonderful weekend and we had visitors of all ages from all over California, Ohio, Hawaii (Leilani's parents).

2005 NEWS

Have you been wondering why it seems like we have "disappeared" from the Cane Corso Italiano world all of a sudden after the 2004 National Specialty? Well, we have been pretty busy not only moving from Brentwood to Lincoln this year, but we have also been looking at parcels of land for the future site of our first custom home! We finally ended up buying a 20-acre vineyard in the beautiful Livermore Valley Wine Country, about 45 miles SE of San Francisco. We have 15 acres of Chardonnay grapes and a 2-acre homesite with a creek that runs along one side. If all goes well, we hope to move in early 2009!

Romeo also earned his TT title under ATTS Chief Judge Carl Herkstroeter that weekend; I (Leilani) was so proud to be his handler and especially honored to receive such an excellent review from a highly esteemed judge!

Romeo del Morgan, CGC, TDI, TT, FBCA-TT (Exc) won his 6th Best In Show under Judges Bill Edwards and David Markus at the IABCA Anaheim Hills Show in California on November 21, 2004...only 3 weeks after his 3rd birthday! Romeo was the #1 Rarities Cane Corso in 2004 (#2 Working Dog and #4 All-Breed), which is an amazing accomplishment in only five show weekends! Bob and I are so proud of Romeo's achievements and success this year, especially considering we had only started campaigning him the summer of 2004!
